Super Mario Bros. (NES)

Instead of doing a dumb blog about the statistics of the game I'd rather just tell you about my personal experience with the game.

is was one of the games we had.

I was probably 7 when I first tried this in 1997 and I thought it was pretty hard, the controls in this game compared to more recent Mario titles are pretty stiff and once mid-air when jumping, it is very hard to control Mario. I think this game is the best title for this console but damn is it hard, for me at least.

I had been a big fan of Super Mario World back then and if you've played it you'd understand my frustration with Mario's first game. Its not bad, I love that game and the graphics and all the controls are good for the system but they havent aged very well, it is way too hard for me, I am not a person that likes challenge in a game, I like simple games usually, Ive never completed this game even though it's not that hard. I really like the music in the game, its classic, I love the bright colours and its good for kids.

This game is available in the Wii virtual console but I wouldnt suggest it, there are better titles involving Mario out there, this game is better played on the original console, or else its not worth it.

If I could rate this game from when it came out, it would be a 9 out of 10.

Donkey Kong Land 2 (gameboy)

This gameboy title starts off just like Donkey Kong country on the SNES, the story is that you control either Diddy kong or Dixie kong in the quest to rescue Donkey kong from King K. Rool and the Kremlin Krew. The levels are original even though they have the same name: you start off in King K Rool's boat and head off for Dk island (the opposite of Donkey kong land 1). The gameplay is solid, music is excellent for a gameboy title but the colours added for gameboy colour and gameboy player could have been better. This 2d platformer game offers depth and fun for all ages.

Pokemon Stadium (n64)

This is my top-favorite pokemon game! The fights, story the gym leader battles and minigames are just a percentage of whats to offer on this game. Mind-popping graphics of this game makes every other n64 title look horrible. The biggest highlight of the game is the transfer pack included with the game. You can play you pokemon game straight from the game and battle in 3d with them! Every move in this game looks astonishing. When you finish stadium mode, you can add a doduo feature on your gameboy pokemon game that makes the speed of the game twice as fast making the game way easier to finish and creating a powerful team! This game is a must-have classic, I recomend it for collectioners, if you have a n64 and you dont have this game, get it or die!

Starfox (super nintendo)

One of the best games on the Super nintendo. One of the few games on the system to offer FX technology which is a look-alike 3d graphics. This action-packed wonder features the 4 original arwing pilots such as Fox, Falco, Peppy and Slippy, but the one you are controling is Fox. The game offers lots of chalenges and the boss battles are epic. The only starfox game that has beaten this one is probably Starfox 64

The Simpsons: Hit and Run (gamecube)

This is the best Simpsons game to date! Its basicaly a copy of the Gta games. You choose between Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Apu in a journey to reveal the threat that is happening in springfield. You steal cars, do missions and walk around just like a Gta game would do. The visuals represent the simpsons at its best. 3 different places are available to visit such as the evergreen terrace and the subburbs, dowtown and city hall, and squidport. For a simpsons fan, I recomend it. Its the best you can have for now.
